Workshops
There are no workshops currently scheduled for 2011. Below are some of the workshops Frank has run in the past.
Developing Your Own Self Practice
Venue: Kumbada Studio, Kalorama
Date & Time: Sunday, 19th October 2008. 9:30am - 4:00pm
(5 hrs tuition with 1.5hrs lunch break)
Cost: $120 ($80 for current Dynamic Yoga students.)
Suitable for: Any student with some experience of yoga postures and wanting to deepen their understanding and experience of yoga posture practice.
Description: Nearly all Yoga students enjoy and benefit from their regular class practice. However, for most, the deeper more satisfying fruits that Yoga has to offer only become apparent with the development of one's own regular practice.
This workshop is aimed at providing assistance for those students interested in either making a start at their own home practice or those who may already be practising but want to expand and deepen what they are doing.
The day will include the learning of a practice example session, a detailed examination of the principles of posture practice and their application and discussion of some of the various themes and issues associated with practising on your own. Example practice handouts will be provided on the day.

Scheduled for 2009: The Dynamics of Integrity II
Venue: Kumbada Studio, Kalorama
Date & Time: To be advised
(5.5hrs tuition with 1.5hrs lunch break)
Cost: $120
Suitable for: Any student with some experience of yoga postures and wanting to deepen their understanding and experience of yoga posture practice.
Description: This workshop teaches the basic principles of posture practice. They include: working with the bandhas in the whole of the body so as to access their deep integrating impact; Sensitivity to and respect for sensation within the body for both safety and a deepening of somatic awareness; vinyasa flow to the breath; and maintaining a soft inner core. These principles can then be applied to any Yoga style that respects the inherent integrity of the body.
A simple sequence of postures will be taught to provide a context within which to apply these principles and which can then be used as the basis for the student’s own home practice if desired. A sheet will be provided detailing these postures. The postures will be taught with safety and integrity always to the fore.
In this way the student will experience the deep inner dynamic of interconnectivity that is at the heart of yogic experience.

Scheduled for 2009: The Dynamics of Surrender II
A look at our Yoga Practice through the lens of Patanjali's Yoga Sutras.
Venue: Kumbada Studio, Kalorama
Date & Time: To be advised
Cost: $80 ($50 for current Dynamic Yoga students.)
Suitable for: Both student and teacher alike who might be interested in deepening their appreciation of what Yoga has to offer. It is not necessary to be familiar with Patanjali's text. A brief introduction to its' significance will be given.
Description: This workshop will focus on key aspects of the Yoga Sutras in the context of our Yoga Practice.
For the yogi this seminal text can be seen as being as alive and relevant as ever, providing the basis for ongoing enquiry and a lens through which to look at both our practice and our lives. In this three hour workshop we will attempt to make connections across the various strands within Patanjali so that students can achieve a more wholistic perspective on what Patanjali has to offer.
The workshop will include both an instructed practice and a discussion based exploration of the sutras so that the two reverberate against each other in an ever deepening spiral of insight into the nature of our being.
